Title: Looking for the stock spring rating (as a base line)
Post by: Anonymous on July 25, 2004, 01:46
I've been searching all over MR2-ROC and SC and through all the Toyota official technical and repair manuals and I cannot find any data on the stock spring ratings.

The reason I'm looking is that I am thinking of upgrading my suspension (to a TRD sportivo, TRD WayDo Sportivo, Eibach/TTE or a combination of these) and I would like to have a reference ("base line") to compare each set-up's stiffness and lowering factor.

The data I'm looking for is normally expressed in N/mm.

If anyone knows this info or knows where to find it I would appreciate it.

Cheers.

That info was on SC before the hack  s:? :? s:?  Seems no one knows it anymore though...let us know, if you find it.
Title: varies by year

note:  since spring/shock rates seemed to have changed, as of 2003, stock specs probably vary by year, too.
