Title: Sportivo install - Rear cross member torque
Post by: Anonymous on August 7, 2004, 17:40
I'm almost done with my sportivo install now, the only thing
left to do is torque down the rear cross member bolts after
sliding in the member spacers.

The only problem is that I can't for the life of me find the
torque to use on these bolts..

Can anyone help me out?

This is my first post here by the way... I've had my black 2002
spyder for about a year and a half, and loving it every day.

Thanks,
Gunnar

I haven't checked myself, but I'll take a guess it'll be in:  m http://www.spydermagazine.com/2002/Jan/ ... ortivo.htm (http://www.spydermagazine.com/2002/Jan/sportivo/sportivo.htm) m

Thanks, thats the guide I used during the install.. I can't find it
anywhere in this guide, but thats probably because I'm pretty
clueless when it comes to car-part terminology and don't know
what to look for. Anyway, I torqued it to 50Nm, and will have
the nice people at Toyota make sure its torqued correctly when
I get the alignment done.
