Title: ignition timing help

what is the ignition timing on your MR-S? i checked my ignition timing today and it is 13.5 ~ 15.0 during idle, isnt it too high? is there any way to adjust? thanks

The ignition timing is a function of the ECU, and will vary wildly depending upon fuel and driving style.

What did you use to check it?

As said, the ECU controls all this, so i wouldn't worry about it, it's only idle after all. Try a reset of the ECU if your concerned, see if it alters.

Only way to alter it is with a piggyback ECU.

its something like a small PDA stuff, call OBDII automotive diagnostic or something like that which can check the ignition timing, airflow, and many other stuff.

No, that's only an AirFlow Converter...you can alter the MAF signal, which causes the ECU to dump in more/less fuel.
