Title: Fitting AppRadio...help!
Post by: Ian3360 on April 21, 2014, 16:45
I've started fitting my AppRadio 3 but run into some problems!

Got the stock stereo out and found that I couldn't use the fitting cage as they don't have any way of attaching to the rails on each side of the opening.

Tried using the mounting brackets from the stock unit and here's my problem.... Using these leaves the Appradio about 20-25 mm too far forward and leaves a gap at the side where the knee trims are....

Does anyone know where I can get brackets that will fit the Appradio back in the correct position?

Any help would be appreciated!!!   s:bowdown:  s:bowdown:    s:bowdown:  s:bowdown:    s:D :D s:D

I used the stock cage.

Sits fine in my car but I got appradio 2.

I would recommend using the stockcage and pushing the prongs outwards so no one can steal it and then slide the head unit in until it clicks
