I was cleaning my engine bay at the weekend, and on the rear of the engine just lower than the black plastic VVTi cover, there's a row of nuts (about 4 I think) which hold the rocker cover on? They're right out in the open.
Anyway, as I wiped it down with a rag, one of them spun around as I brushed against it! Engine was warm, but hadn't been run for a couple of hours.
They were all working a bit loose.. just a head's up as something to check next time you're in the engine bay.
Cheers,
Tim.
When I swapped Kerrie's Cam Cover from the sprayed version I was surprised at how loose some of the bolts were. A little more than hand tight.
I don't think they are mean't to be done up too hard though because there is a rubber gasket that sits between it and the head
