Title: FP-11-03 facisa dont fit with my pre-facelift double din ?

I just bought a FP-03-11 facisa and it doesn't fit my pre-facelift double din surround.                       it is like trying to fit ball into square hole.

The seller says this FP-03-11 is 2000 onward.   It look like I need new surround as mine is square at the corners, not rounded like fp-03-11 facisa

I need to bin this sony double din radio because its not working, and I am going to place it with a blank cubbyhole. I don't have need for radio.  

have I ordered wrong thing or Do I need new surround?   or is there any other facisa that fit into mine?

That's what I bought to swap from the fisher price to a pioneer mvhb350bt
Got no problems with it.

Mine is  a facelift 2006 not sure if that matters re the facia kit.

Sorry just realised your trying to do away with the radio completely.

From what I read,   pre-facelift radio surround has different shape to post facelift.  I need get new post facelift radio surround.    ashtray surround apparently do fit...
