Title: Steering wheel Boss..
Post by: martin_b on June 1, 2014, 12:08
Hi Guys,

I got one of these to allow me to fit a Momo steering wheel i already have.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HUB-Steering-Wheel-Adaptor-Boss-Kit-Toyota-Supra-MR2-Corolla-Celica-Cruiser-/131204745452?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e8c6988ec

Issue is I cant get it to fit, it fouls the plug where the airbag connects..  am i being an idiot?

Just read the eBay advert can't see a mk3 or a roadster listed

Think you've made an error mate.

Unless its the wrong link.

Even my wife spotted it!   s:wink:  s:wink:

Sorry

The one I got was supposed to be for an MR2 but if anyone can recommend another I'd be grateful.

You need one to fit an mr2 roadster or mk3 1999 - 2007
The one you have purchased fits mk1 and mk2 MR2s according to the listing.
it makes no mention of the mk3 or roadster.

It was a while ago know since I fitted my so I can't remember exactly but the first one I bought was an NRG hub that was listed as being for a Roadster but I had the same problem, in the end I ordered one from Japan.

I believe mk2 one should fit, but regardless, I purchased a MOMO one and it also fouls the white connector. I ended up trimming the connector to get it sitting flat down. Not very good to be honest, but by the sounds of it they are all the same?
