Post by: Gmt1972 on June 10, 2014, 19:09
Hi
I removed my battery to charge it as it was flat after charging and refitting the key fobs do not operate the alarm and when you turn on there are no lights on the dash except the airbag light it will turn over but not start.
Any ideas/help appreciated.
Thanks,

Standard factory alarm/immobiliser/fobs?
Funny you mention the airbag light.........found this a while back.

Toyota (various models) If the battery is disconnected while the key is on, it can set a fault code for the airbag system and turn on the airbag warning light (which deactivates the airbag system until the fault is cleared with a scan tool).
