I picked up some plastic polish and cleaner specifically aimed at cleaning clear plastic sheet. C R Laurence co inc simply named Plastic cleaner and polish seemed to chean the headlights well and take off the yellow film lots of us suffer from. Not seen it around before so thought i would give it a try, was around £5 a 8 fl oz bottle. Not sure how long it lasts yet but will keep you posted.
I picked it up in a builders merchant that did glass and cut plastic sheet for glazing purposes. They have an office in Rochdale.
