Title: Shakes at neural
Post by: OptimisticRed on July 10, 2014, 13:29
When the car is neutral and sat idling at say traffic lights the car has a very light intermittent shake every few seconds.

It is the same if the engine is hot or cold or if its full of oil or at low levels.

The car has done around 110,000 miles, is a Y reg I will and does burn a lot of oil (around litre every 600miles therefore) it is well worn.

This is more out of curiosity as the car is only used for weekend rives or short random trips during the week.

Thanks
Dave

Also worth cleaning the plugs and checking the state of the air filter.
