Title: OBDLink MX OBD2 reader
Post by: Mr X on July 11, 2014, 10:43
Just ordered one of these from the states...
I have torque running in the car all the time and sometimes when I have 3 or more dials up at once you can really see the lag!
This thing is advertised as reading PIDs at 60 > 150 times a second where as the elm327 I have at the moment only does 6 per second!

This is it in action, seems pretty fast to me!

Does anyone else have one of these?
I have to wait 2 weeks for it to be delivered, can't wait to see what a difference it makes!

There isn't access to much data then is there.  s:shock:  s:shock:

You'll never get to drive it looking through all that. I like the idea of those rather than fixed dials up the a-post.

The old one is cheap and it's ok for 1 or 2 things but if you have audio warnings on, for example the coolant temp if it goes over 95 or intake temp if it goes over 45 etc, those have to be monitored too and it all adds up.
Hoping this will solve that and make it all run a bit smoother.
As long as the tablet/phone is in a nice surround I think it does look better than gauge pods.
