Ok so whilst tidying up the car earlier I found some cables and at first thought they were for an amp, however the cable running to the battery is weedy, and I've never seen one of the connectors. Add that to the bundle of wires behind the head unit and I'm stumped

There is some cheap old (maybe 8 years) alpine headunit installed if that helps ?
Many e-points on offer here
The red and white connectors are line level audio, so I would guess they are either amp or CD multichanger cables.
I thought that it was an amp too when I saw the rca's but then the 10 pin plug with the spurred power to the battery threw it.
Any other ideas anyone ?
My money is on the original factory fitted Sony CD multichanger. I believe it went in the passenger side rear bin.
I thought the original had a circular multiplug and wouldn't have been wired to the battery through the grommit. Unless installed afterwards I guess by a previous owner
I've no idea on the specifics of the Sony unit, but it could certainly be a previous owner replicating the setup with aftermarket gear.
