Title: Where To Buy Engine Mounts?
Post by: westcoast on September 18, 2014, 20:18
Does anybody know a place where I can order engine mount(s) (inserts) online?
I've got a feeling that the local dealer is going to be a bit expensive.  s:) :) s:)

When accelerating hard and shifting from 1-2 I can feel the engine move pretty hard so I think it's time to change the inserts.
Also, last time I changed the oil I could see a tear in the thin part of the engine mount.

Is it possible to only change the inserts or do I need to change the complete mount?

Thanks!

You could always replace the inserts with Kirks mounts or Speed source mounts if you can find them.

They do however give a little resonance in the cabin. Just depends how much you really dont want the engine to move

Thanks for your quick reply, Nathan!
Me personally, I wouldn't mind some resonance for some increased response but I'm planning on selling it soon.
Wouldn't want to scare potential buyers away.  s:) :) s:)
