Could you tell me if the TRD celica 6-speed short-shifter work ok with a 6-speed roadster??..
Thanks in advance for any info on this... s:wink:  s:wink:
I could be very wrong, but IIRC the two are interchangeable. (Celica 00-04) At least they are with the B&M, and i'm sure they will be with the TRD. Might be worth waiting for someone else to post before buying!
I also could be wrong, but I don't think they will be interchangeable.
The TRD quickshifters come with the entire plastic cage, and I doubt that they are the same (front / rear engine).
The B&M doesn't replace the existing cage, and yes, it is the same kit for for celica and mr2.

Yeah, TRD is different for MR2 and Celica, cause the cage is turned 180 degrees between them.
(the ones that replace just the stick are interchangeable)
However, IIRC, someone on SC mentioned that the Celica version can be made to fit the '2, but it's not a bolt-on job anymore. Sorry, I really don't remember the details s:? :? s:?
MRMike mentioned a possible prob with the TRD in the thread:

....but he seems to have had more joy with the stick-only Ebay version on his 6-speed.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for the replies.. Going to go for the "cheepie" on Ebay...
If it's good enough for MRMike it's good enough for me... s:wink:  s:wink:
