Saw this out the bedroom window and thought it looked quite cool s:) :) s:)

Not cool enough to warrant strapping a street light over the car though s:lol:  s:lol:
Think I'll stick with plain old silver s;) ;) s;)
What's a flip paint anyway...?
I know what flipping a finger means, but this probably isn't the same s:roll:  s:roll:

LOL yep you're right it's not the same s:lol:  s:lol:
It's like the paint job on some TVRs where the paint is blended in directional layers (I think) so that as the car approaches it looks green, but as it goes past, it looks orange.
If you do a search on google for "flip paint" and click on the images option, you'll see what I mean s:) :) s:)
Isnt that pearlesent?

Paint that changes colour. The most popular being green -> purple

Site contents where a bit too bling/nova boy for me so I didn't explore quite far enough to find that gem. Thanks for the headsup.
Some nice pics there (and no, I don't mean the 'model'..), even a 300ZX, yay!
But what did they do to that poor R32 Skyline? s:cry:  s:cry: They gave it a 'badboy' Nova-esque bonnet.. s:cry:  s:cry: s:cry:  s:cry:
(to stay on topic) Craig - I don't think Pearlescent really counts as a flip paint, as it's just a base coat with a metallic coloured top coat.. Depends on your definition of flip, I suppose s:) :) s:)
