Had my MR2 a few months now,just noticed a wire coming out of plastic tax disc holder ?,any ideas,a friend said it could be alarm in case someone steals tax disc if hood is down ? thanks JP.

Old Nokia car kits had a tax disc holder aerial....theres cheapo universal ones as well.
