Fitted a set of new speakers to my roadster a few weaks ago.
not being the best at making speaker adapters i bought a set of aftermarket rear mounts for a 2002 corolla. fitted perfectly without any modification.
Part number is CT25TY02 and some wiring adapters which are part number PC2-824 if you dont want to chop the existing loom

I bought a set of Edge ED306 components. about £40
i didnt use the tweeters, just the mid bass speakers.
the speakers were about the same depth as standard speakers so clearance wasnt an issue s:D :D s:D
