According to my dealer it is s:roll:  s:roll:
Redline made the noise go away though s8) 8) s8)
I have always thought that the noise is rather excessive.
A little whine seems to be quite normal, even my new gearbox whines a bit, and it was replaced for precisley this reason only 14,000 miles ago...

Thanks Guy's. Taking the the car into Mr T tomorrow for a few queries/complaints (on a car that's done a grand total of 681 miles), this being one of them. So at least when he tells me "there're all like that sir" I know I'm not the only one! s:wink:  s:wink:

Feedback what they say
Mr T seemed to acknowledge there is a whine but suggested I see how it goes as the car has only done 750 miles s:roll:  s:roll: . Kind of got the impression that it wasn't normal but he did say they are a bit whiny s:?: :?: s:?:
