just made a spear key from the high street and it started to car
therefor no immobiliser   s:x :x s:x  

bettet go order a Cat 1 alarm & immobiliser asap  s:( :( s:(

crap! i have a j-spec MR2, i thought it had an immobiliser at least!  s:( :( s:(  

What alarm are you getting? I want one too!

No J-spec's have an immobiliser.  The button on the key is purely a door opener.  The key cutters never believe you when you say there is no transponder.
