Hi all,
Following on from a previous thread I poted re. spraying hardtops I thought I'd update you all.
The first thing is that the Black hardtop we bought actually did look perfectly alright on the silver car! Was amazed! It hardly even looked as though it was there (what with the soft top being black anyway).
But we had it re-sprayed at Banbury Bodyshop who have done a neat job. The rubbers were all removed and replaced without damage etc. and the job took two days. Cash price was £180.
So if anyone else thinks about doing this, there's a little info for you!
Cheers all

Not trying to criticise but the hardtop silver shade looks a bit different to the body; or is the car needs a clean s:?: :?: s:?:
The hard top looks great I can't see any colour difference but colour is all about the angle you look at things ie bumpers etc.

Any address/telephone number for bodyshop?
Car does need a wash yes! s:oops:  s:oops: s:D :D s:D
But the Silver is spot on when you see the car properly. I agree it looks a little different in the photo but I think that's down to muck.
