Title: MOT and gutting of Pre-cats

Hi All

Ive got my MOT coming up in the next few weeks and I want to know has anyone had their MOT with the pre-cats gutted??

Should it pass ok??

It'll pass fine - cold start emissions are not part of the UK MOT, which is the only time the pre-CATs are doing anything useful aside from being an exhaust gas flow restrictor  s;) ;) s;)

FWIW, I seem to recall Martin passing with no CATs at all (though he did have to fiddle the mixture slightly.. I could be wrong and it was Mark, bad memory  s:) :) s:) )

Mark passed with no pre-cats

Martin passed with no cats at all AND a turbo AND an extra injector   s:shock: :shock: s:shock:
