Title: Red light by steering wheel

Anyone know what the light is for? Since I charged my battery I've noticed it flashin once locked. Is it linked to the alarm/immobiliser? Never noticed it flashing before. Car locks up fine and the alarm light over the heater knob works fine. Did a search, it's mentioned elsewhere but couldn't find a definitive answer. (It's by the coin slot thingy)

Light over the heater knobs is the immobiliser, I think the other one is alarm.

Yep thanks, think you're correct. I dug out the old manuals, I've got the alarm details. Apparently it's an 'optional' alarm led and flashes when things are armed. Funny, hadn't noticed it lit before. See link below...
