Title: QRP Axles? Alternatives?
Post by: manos3003 on March 22, 2016, 20:50
Hi guys,

Doing healthchecks on the car before its MOT I noticed an ever so slight weep from left halfshaft. I'm 2zz-ing my car within the year and I think halfshafts should be on my shopping list.

I've seen QRP from MWR, so thinking on it. Anyone has any other suggestions?

Most you might need is 6 speed standard drive shafts

Considering I've got a 5-speed, they will need swapping then.

Cheers Dave!

5 speed ones work fine so no need to swop them

Since mine are failing, I'm thinking it's best to swap them rather than refurb them...We'll see...

What do you mean failing? The seals on the box or the CV joints

Right, did some more digging, I've discovered it's more worth refurbing my own rather than buying the QRP ones. I should be looking to do that when the car is apart getting prepped for the swap.
