Title: fast answer please & no flames !!
Post by: crankshaft on December 17, 2004, 14:54
I have just returned to the UK and started & driven my car for the first time in 4 months. (bloody awful weather !)

I need to pump the tyres but don't have the manual with me, none of the garages I have visited have a chart with tyre pressures and I have serached the forum of which there are so many posts on tyres & pressures that I can't find a simple answer - so..... what is the recommended tyre pressure front and rear using the standard yokos on a 2001 and should i run the std pressure or something else?.

I know, I know use the search button, I have limited internet access and sinmply don't have the luxuary of browsing thru pages and pages.

A quick reply would be appreciated !

Thanx all ?!

The tyre pressure suggestion is on a label affixed to the bottom of the glove compartment. I'm running 27/30 with the stock Bridgestones. I found 32 to be a bit harsh in back.

Thanx, the glovebox was the first place I looked, I also looked on the side of the drivers door. There was  a sticker in the glovebox stating the toyota emergency breakdown number, but no tyre pressures !
