Grant has the exact dimensions. I currently have both bins out in prep to install the Bluespot amp. Can measure tomorrow if needed  s:wink:  s:wink:

Its difficult to give a size of the space, as its an entirely non uniform shape, The pictures below use a 12"/300mm and a 6"/150mm engineers rule to show the rough shape and dimensions of whats under there.

I also had a play and came up with a rough guide for the sort of sized thing you could fit in there in this post , which contains lots more pics:

You might also try reading my post where I tracked down a good quality 4 channel amp that would fit uner the plastics without need of extra cooling.

Search for amp and under for even more.

cheers for that Grant,

i've got 3 Bazooka pro20 amps to hide away 2 are 2x88w and a sub monobloc which can put out 750w. I'm hopeing to hide the monobloc under the bin and an amp under the seat with the 3rd under the dash somewhere, should sound good but i need to make the cubby whole doors removable for when we go away on holiday, so its going to be mounted on cannon connectors to make life easy.

Not with the right tool its not...  s:wink:  s:wink:

I havent bothered with the new car though, there was no need as the kenwood amp is prettty wide and sits just above it.

This has probably been covered before, but I checked for myself yesterday, and found that this space doesn't exist for smt owners - that's where the ecu for that lives!!  And there I was epxecting a nice space for the amp   s:roll:  s:roll:    Gota find somewhere else now, although I 'll probably just end up putting it in the bin anyway...

Did the BlueSpot turn up at last  s:?: :?: s:?:  I have now got two amps, one for the sub and one for the door speakers. I intend on putting one below and one above on the plastic tray.
