Title: Hardtop respray
Post by: hc06nch on October 20, 2016, 13:49
Just wondering if anybody has ever had their hardtop resprayed professionally and, if so, how much did it cost?

I was quoted by a pro who was a member on another forum for £250. I thought I'd better wait for the right colour. Paint and labour sadly cost money.

will differ hugely between bodyshops so better off asking a local place for a quote
but yeh you`ll be paying around the value of the hardtop for a decent job more than likely so best to wait for the colour you want

Another more cost effective option would be wrapping it

Snakeskin vinyl anyone?

I wonder if Mike is considering this.
Apparently you can never have too much bling!

I've also had a quote recently to repaint mine (black) which was £275.

I'll probably get mine done soon as someone has bodged the respray, the quotes seem reasonable
