While trying to fix my stalling issue I am going to change my 2zz induction pipe work and routing.
It would be really useful to see what other people have done, which route they have chosen and how effective it has been. I have moved the battery to the front so have plenty of room!
Cheers
First culprit I'd look at is your man tube

Why?
What is with the hard stance?
Is fun now banned on this forum?
I suppose by writing that, I have introduced offtopic chatter s;) ;) s;) see what I did there?
I mean COME ON!... "man tube"?
There's some opportunities that can't be missed and they won't be moderated out, I promise
HAHA well I guess I'll start by looking at my 'man tube'.
Ok. So looking at it I have a 76mm throttle body on the 2zz and one of Patrick's MAF holders which is 72mm. The 2zz throttle body is horizontal unlike the angled 1zz, so ideally I would run it horizontally along the bulk head into an enclosed BMC filter. But measuring it up I don't think it will fit. So I am going to have to angle it out slightly to then come back into the space behind where the battery was.
So I'm thinking a 45 degree silicon pipe with 76mm diameter one end reducing to 72mm on the other running into the MAF holder and then a further 45 degree silicon pipe to angle it back towards the bulkhead head with the BMC on the end. Is this the usual path that people take or am I over complicating it?
This is my setup, Eliseparts MAF holder, silicon elbow and a Jetex cone filter pushed right into the side air intake. Side scoop also added to provide further air flow.
