Can anyone confirm I'm looking at the right thing (im no mechcanic but hoping to learn a bit)
Thanks suls
Hello yes I think that's the correct fitment. No idea how good Walker brand is.
Denso is the OEM one.
thanks jon,
have been looking for Denso but cant seem to find a decent price, might run with the walker and see how it goes for £49
Thanks
Others here have bought non Denso sensors and they have failed in weeks , most with sense by from sparkplugs.co.uk
m http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/denso-oxyge ... r-dox-0206 (http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/denso-oxygen-sensor-dox-0206) m is one at a fair price I think for peace of miond.

If you have some decent pliers, cut the plug off, do it yourself, save a lot of money

Thanks all, sadly had already pressed go on the walker one before the later suggestions so fingers crossed its ok,
Would have gone with the Denso otherwise...
appears I'm in the right place for solid advice anyway..
Thanks again
Yes you are.
Hello and welcome
Take it private buy, or otherwise would have suggested to take it back.
Very common for sensors to go. Good time to have alook in the chambers whilst tyou are replacing the sensor.
search precats
Whilst ther, you might as well do the MAF clean and ECU reset. Search is your friend. top right corner.
And while it is stone cold on the flat. Check your oil.

Cheers Ardent
yes private purchase, listed as having EML light on so having dug around here a bit took a flyer on it being an O2 sensor which thankfully it is..
Is a 2002 so has the risks of the precat issue, however believe it has a toyosport manifold which would resolve that issue? Might need to put a picture up to make sure that is correct...
Am keeping an eye on the oil but will do the MAF clean and ECU reset as well, think its running a bit rich atm, She also needs a service (full history up until 12 months / 10K ago) so will hopefully be a very tidy car for the money once that little lot is done..
Cheers
Well played!
Pics always welcome here.
A good service is always a good place to start.
Cheap enough as not much to service.
Air filter, oil filter, oil, set of plugs. MAF n ECU.
All worth an easy phycological 25bhp.
Tyres and pressures good to keep an eye on well. Very susceptible to poor tyres and incorrect inflation
Walker O2 sensors and other products are a popular brand in the US. I had them fitted to my X-trail for 3 years with no ill effects
Thanks for all the tips,
Had her serviced this week, new O2 sensor is on and the EML has stayed off for the time being so all good there,
Also had her generally checked over, small leak in the coolent which is now resolved, so £134 service + £50 for the sensor and shes driving really well,
Have brough some carb cleaner so will MAF clean and ECU reset at the weekend when its not bloody dark and should be in a good place with it.. :-) :-) :-)
Happy days!
Did service include a set of sparkies? So cheap for these cars might as well. Replace mine every service.
No they were checked but I have platinium in apparently, I had to look up what that meant s:roll:  s:roll: but I'm told they are fine
