another one of my winter jobs to do
Are these clutches any good?
They are Oem and Japanese made so top quality
Thanks, I will probably need one of these soon
Sure OEM?
JK just had an excedy replaced after only 30k
It's worth noting my old one may or may not have been brand new when it went in, I had thought it was, but could be mistaken as it was an add-on job as part of more extensive work and the part wasn't pre-ordered. Noone else seems to have had such issues, so I would probably take my situation with a pinch of grit salt s;) ;) s;) I replaced with Exedy again this time, but definitely a new part this time s:) :) s:)
Does the new one feel significantly different/better than the other?
To give the new one a fair outing, did you have the flywheel checked/skimmed to ensure flatness?
Do you feel any judder on initial take up?
Just curious.
Unfortunately i cannot comment as yet as the clutch is still in it's box
Hoping to fit in January so will post my review later
I was going to add is the flywheel sold or duel mass?

The clutch plate has got springs, so it'll be a single-mass flywheel.

Are Exedy really the OEM supplier for the Roadster?
From what i have read they are. Having worked in automotive manufacturing most car companies use a number of suppliers for service parts through out the life of the car
Like night and day, Jase, feels smooth as a freshly waxed Custard mr2 bum now.

Glad to hear.
