Hi all

A bit of advice please, I have 17" aftermarket alloys on my MR (not a personal choice, just the way it came) and I quite like them. I need to get new tyres and was thinking 205x40x17 0n front and 225x45x17 on the back, has anyone done this or am I being daft?

That would depend on the wheel spec

2154517 / 2253517 might be another option depending on the width and offset

Mine are 8j and I run 2454017

Oh, don't know the offset! all I know all 17's are the same size and sitting on 205x40x17 at present?

Just to be clear, 2154517 on front and 2253517 on the back would work? Probably a dumb question... so sorry in advance!
