Hello folks
I wired my single o2 in parallel to both primary sensors lil the PPE wiring and all was great but it seems that its fried my sensor heater... How do I wire a resistor for this setup please? I'm assuming that as it's both sensor circuit trying to power it (twice current) that I need twice the resistance. And I assume that I could have anything greater than 15ohm x2 for this circuit. But I used a 70ohm resistor and bits still throwing errors. Must I put a resistor on each circuit or change the sensor so it is heated nd put a resistor on the other or put a big resistor across both circuits?
Please help. MOT tomorrow.
Thanks
Maybe not what you want to hear but why not have another o2 sensor bung welded in?
Then the engine can have a better stab at the afr and you wont need to worry about resistors.
Email or call the ppe guys in the US. They will be able to advise you..
Scott
I had 2 sensors in. Didn't give correct readings as sensors fight each other. Hence PPE not using 2. Runs beautifully but doubling circuit to 1 sensor has fried the heater... I have a spare though s;) ;) s;)
Thanks John.
Called and they said they'd email the wiring diagram over.

This causes problems with fueling unless you plug the one in the collector and weld one in for each bank in the correct primary. I'd splice the sensor output and replace one heater circuit with a resistor, something around 30 ohms.
Ok thanks Chris. Might have to postpone MOT...
Got it sussed. That God for fuses. Really! Crossed the heater wires so they weren't parallel and popped the ECU2 fuse. All good now, rewired the sensor and triple checked it all. Hopefully I'll get through the MOT now. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for all the help folks.
