Title: O2 sensor
Post by: beany on May 17, 2017, 09:35
Hi, can someone tell me which sensor I have to buy for bank 2 sensor 1 please. Is it the front sensor or the back sensor? And is it the one on the left ? Thanks.

There's a third (post cat) one not shown in the image which I believe is bank one sensor two.

So it is the one on the left, thanks. Is that the front sensor with the shorter lead or where do I find a parts number? Thanks.

I believe both the ones on the exhaust manifold are identical.  Wise to go for a Denso.  Lots of people buy from sparkplugs website.  Although I recently got one from Amazon for £56.
It was listed as this;
NPS DOX-0204 Lambda Probe Denso.

You'll need an O2 socket in order to change it too.

There's a 'how to' on here for guidance.

Thank you so much. I have the O2 socket tool as I had to replace my sensors on the mr2 I had in South Africa. I just couldn't remember which sensors I bought. At least this time round I didn't panic when the engine light came on and I already had a obd reader i bought last time as both top sensors went on my last car. Will buy denso again and get hubby to change it. Thanks again for your help.
