Title: Fuse to disable injectors
Post by: m1tch on June 24, 2017, 22:03
Hi all,

I want to get a compression test done on the car, I have the tester etc but I am unsure which fuse I need to pull to disable the injectors as I can't see an obvious one listed, I guess I could just unplug the injectors themselves but it might throw all sorts of codes!

Just unplug the injectors - removing the fuse will have the same effect anyway.

My memory sucks,, a lot.. but from memory the fuel pump relay is in the engine bay, back bulkhead(front aka forwards bit) on the left, should be marked on the lid as FI  pull that one and it wont put fuel in.

I just unplugged the injectors, although the injector furthest to the left is tough as you get burnt on the vent fitting on the rocker cover!
