Right my engine is in and I have no spark
It is showing ignition circuits fault
P1300
P1305
P1310
P1315
All electrics worked before removal
Its likely that you should have 4 codes - one for each cylinder. No power to the coil packs!

Yrs I do have 4 I was just typing quick
You probably missed one of the earths from the loom that goes to the head.
I'm sure I have all earths on but will check them
Could it be crank sensor ? Or would I be shown a code with the diagnostic system in our mr2s. ?
Crank sensor will have have its own code, same for cam sensor
Edit
P0335 crank
p0012 camshaft
+1 on the sensors.
The only part of the circuit that is common to all four coils is the earth. As the codes relate to the coils, not other parts of the system, my money is still on that. One of the wires going to the coil connector should show a circuit to the engine block, so you can check it that way.

Sorry to be a burden how would I check that
Unplug one of the connectors to a coil pack. Clip one end of your meter to the engine. Select the continuity setting on your meter (the lowest setting in the 'Ohms range). Put the other probe from your meter into the connection for the white wire with a black stripe in the connecting plug. It should show continuity.
Just tried it on an engine I've just built, it worked.
Had a further peek at the engine on the stand...
I disconnected one of the earths from the loom to the head. It killed the earth on all four coils.

I have just done volt check on connector for cool battery positive to earth in pin as shown on link above and have 13.4 VDC is that good or bad ?

I did this and got 0.9
On ohms that is
On the lowest setting, I'm getting .1 ohms. Perhaps a disconnect of the earth, clean up and re-connect? Could be the earth won't transmit enough juice...
13.4 looks good. So you've got power.
Otherwise, I'm out of suggestions.
I'm just thinking about what gets disturbed when you take an engine out and the loom off the engine. If you still have no luck, You might try disconnecting the ecu connections, blow out the blocks and spray with contact cleaner? Long shot, I know.
well Its working.
I'm not sure why I cleaned an earth with two white and black wires too it that looked good in first place and that's about it !!!
still not got it to start as of yet ! ! its cranking over but my batt is not the best so I'm charging over night
You found it. Yes you had an earth but not a good one!
Have you cranked it over with the plugs out (just to get the oil round the engine)?
Yrs cranked over, in theory has diary has fuel but seems reluctant to start at moment. Will know more tomorrow once battery is charged.
Cmon mr2 you can do it lol
Diary??
Spark and fuel have no idea why it corrected to diary !
Fingers crossed it all goes well WHEN it finally comes back to life...
