Title: Rattling from the exhaust.
Post by: Anonymous on February 16, 2005, 09:11
Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. I have a problem with this really annoying rattling sound from my exhaust. However, when the engine is warm the rattling decrease; the check engine light is also on. I went to get the ECU reading from a auto part shop and they said it was the O2 sensor. I was wondering if the O2 sensor can make the exhust rattle loud.

I suppose it's possible, if it's loose. It shouldn't make a sounds as long as it's tight.

The rattling probably comes from one of the exhaust heat shields. You might wanna try to search for more info about what other have already experienced  s;) ;) s;)
