Title: Can anyone help with Copilot?
Post by: m1tch on September 4, 2017, 13:30
Hi all,

I have got my PFC and Hako all working as well as the wideband O2, just trying to work out how to use Copilot so I can autotune the fueling, I seem to be missing something, I notice that it says I am still using the default AFR - I am guessing I need to update a table with an AFR I want the system to tune to? I thought that the system should have a safe AFR to go with so that it can tune on that right away though? Reading up on AFRs for NA engines it seems that I should be aiming for around 13:1 - am I correct to say that I should update all values in the AFR table to 13?

Really quite confused about using Copilot although I am getting there, I have the word document which has how to set it up but there doesn't seem to be any support forum or threads about it, there are a few on Spyderchat however there aren't any screenshots for it.

I just need to know how I can enable autotuning on Copilot - I can see that all the requirements are met (eg engine temp etc etc) but when I drive around logging the data nothing seems to change or update - can anyone help with the process of how to be able to autotune - was hoping that it would be simple as driving the car around and logging the parameters and then simply applying what Copilot suggests to change the map to.

*Think* I have sorted it, needed to setup the target AFR table for it to then adjust the inj map for the AFRs - as default the whole table it set to 14.7:1, need to log some more data to find out where on the table idle, cruise and WOT are so I can populate the correct AFR targets. Will aim for 14.7:1 on idle and cruise (under low load) with a target of around 12.5:1 at WOT smoothed through the transition.
