On getting in the car this morning the radio came on and the drivers side speaker was farting around all over the place and vibrating, put the heater on and a few miles down the road it was fine. Could it of been affected by the cold weather, just asking as never come across that before? I have the focals BTW.
or could you have a small frog trapped in there?
could be possible or could be a problem with a connection due to the weather, obviously a non-roadster car is likely to not have this problem and why u may not have encountered it before. s:o :o s:o
this would be a problem that could affect any car as the build of the door is the same as any other car, so my guess is the same as skippy's, probably moisture getting on the connections , if i were you Liz, i'd strip the door down quickly and have a look at the speaker directly, could be the quickest way and would only take 10mins or so to get a better idea
My audio system is hopeless on cold mornings. I just leave it on a low volume until all the speaker suspensions have warmed up a bit.
I'd check the cross-overs too just incase, as they are likely to trap moisture. I've been ok with my focals so far touch wood!

What i was thinking - apparently its best not to keep them in the doors!
