I noticed Schnazzle needing studs for his chain tensioner. This also often happens to exhaust studs.
Tip: soak stud with nut on it in kerosene for a few days.
They then tend to fall apart.
Saved many a stud this way.
Everybody should keep a litre or two of kero around..
Kero can be found at airfields and at farm supplies.
Diesel will also do the job
Not as pleasant smelling tho
Good tips. I'm just going for replacement as they're just little rusty nuts :)
When I fitted my Turbo manifold I went with stainless studs and aerotight fastners as I heard there has been issues in the past with the manifold nuts coming loose on turbo'd cars

After 3 days worth of dosing with WD40 Fast Release penetrant did nothing to my bright orange chain tensioner nuts, I'll give anything a go
