After recent cold spell, went to garage to start the car - but battery totally flat. Rrecondition with full charge to 13.8 volts applied. 2 days later flat again at 2.8 volts. Attached a sparebattery using jump leads (having removed the flat battery) and put an ammeter into the circuit to see a 0.75 amp drsin. Huh. Then had a thought, has the (dim) courtesy light in the cockpit been knocked on at some point. Slip into the car and lo and behold the light was on. D'oh. Ammeter now reading 0.1 amp. Note to self, remember always to check the bloomin' obvious first.. An easy fix but so easy to miss.
That's a good one, it's up there with pressing the window disable switch, and then stripping the doorcards off to check the motor/electrics of the window winder :)
I will see your window switch and raise you an "investigate why the key in buzzer wont stop for a good hour before you realise the lights were left on"

Also when you find that no air is circulating from the side vents - only to find you have them at the closed position!
And the momentary panic that sets in..........followed by the relief of "ahh it's just me being a donut" :D
