Title: Fuel Injector not sitting right
Post by: Blake200 on April 15, 2018, 08:22
Having recently diagnosed a faulty fuel injector I went ahead and ordered/replaced with a new one. New O-rings fitted ordered from Toyota. All ran up fine initially then fuel started to spray out from number 2. I have tried and re sat several times but yet again fuel sprays out when started.

Any suggestions into why or any tips or suggestions on how to get the fuel rail and injectors to sit right. It was fine before I unsettled this area.

Thanks

You've probably pinched the O ring.  (Done it myself).  Need a new one.  Lubricate with engine oil when you pop them in...

I've got spare O rings.  PM me with address and I'll send you a couple.
