Title: Removing gear cables with metal bushings installed
Post by: Bossworld on April 16, 2018, 13:31
Pre-empting a problem. When I fitted the metal gear bushings, they were a real tight fit. The next day I was unable to move them up or down, they were pretty solidly on there.

That was about 18 months ago.  I'm looking ahead to a clutch change, what is the best option?

Is there any kind of tool I can get down there that will pull or give leverage against the selector pins or am I risking snapping something?

Something like this will work. It's cheaper than the three leg pullers.
