After cars excursion into bushes/ tree/ rocks the rear nappy is now scrapping on the floor/ exhaust. I have repaired the fixings, 3 at the back 2 front, but the centre of the front is worn, is it supposed to attach to something, not sure if I have a bit missing, any pictures available. :notworthy:
So the forum will split, with differing advice from those that have trays and those that have lost them in the mists of time. My car arrived without nappies and I originally thought that was something to be rectified. Three years in without and no adverse indications but a lot simpler to get underneath and service or look around.
If faced with your issue of damaged trays I would probably consider removing them.
Have seen a badly fitting one looking cooked on the forum in the past.....
What ^^^^^ said
Just thinks it makes the rear end look tidier / original, so ideally want to keep.
I thought I saw a comment saying that undertrays were part of the new MOT regs somehow? Was it merely that, if attached, they should be attached securely? If so, would removing them entirely be an issue? i.e. is "not loose because not there" an acceptable situation? Is it even referring to undertrays like our ones?
Or maybe I've just picked up the comment wrong, or just imagined it (can't find it now.)

Your car desperately needs lowering it seems to me.
It has been, might not have been in those pics, it's now on Teins.
