Title: Lotus wheels and studs

Hi, can anyone help, I've got some Elise S2 wheels to go on,, do I need different wheel studs/bolts or will the originals fit?

I think it depends on whether the car they came from was Rover or Toyota powered.

2004 onwards.

Yeah, I have those ones, im unsure if the wheel bolts will fit inside the holes on the alloys

Couple of simple things to look at...
Is the bolting face on the lotus wheel flat or bevelled/angled?
Take off one of your wheel nuts and offer it up to the lotus wheel.

You will soon tell. :)

Haha, the tuner was very cool about it

Here is the link, I had to use slimmer nuts to fit in the narrow hole of the lotus alloys:

Haha, the tuner was very cool about it

Here is the link, I had to use slimmer nuts to fit in the narrow hole of the lotus alloys:

From the eBay ad then, a 60 deg tapered seat nut with an M12 x 1.5mm thread. Would be great if you can measure the diameter of one so we can add that to this thread too. In fact that's a key bit of information.

And... what Dan said! We need to see these on the car. ;)
