Any ideas as to what the cause of this might be?

Happened whilst on trackday at Cadwell.
Thought it was the crank seal which was replaced along with the clutch last month. after noticing these symptoms at a previous trackday at Brands.
Was fine until Friday when it happened at Cadwell, so seems to be something that occurs only when car running in extreme conditions.
Anyone else experienced this?
Ideas and suggestions to rectify?

Looks like your crankcase is getting a bit too much pressure when you're thrashing it.
Is it a turbo? Only ask as the crankcase breathes into the inlet manifold and the extra pressure in there could be causing it.
Also looks like it came out round the filler cap. I forgot to put mine on properly once and had a very similar mess. The give=away is the spraying upwards onto the engine lid.
No Turbo Carolyn
What would be the symptoms of too much pressure without Turbo?
Will check cap, but it looks more "flung" than that!

Cap on secure. No signs of any oil coming from there.
Not smelling like transmission oil.....just compared to bottle I have.
Only seems to happen when ragging car on track!!
???
Is your dipstick still where it's supposed to be?
If you mean, has my oil level dropped, then yes Shazzle, I've just topped it up with about 600ml.
I'm assuming you didn't mean, it's physical location?

I guess shnazzle is thinking the oil might be spraying out of the dipstick tube if the dipstick isn't in securely?
Split in the PCV hose?

I'm jus thinking if the case is pressurized, the dipstick may have popped uout. But the spray is on the wrong side :)
