I'm shortly going to do this. I decided to search for instruction on the forum.
Using the search function I found a reference to it but when I diligently went to that date in 'Maintenance', it wasn't there!
Anyone have a link for this, please?
Also, who has done this and what method did you use, please?
My plan might be,,,, jack car up, disconnect return pipe from reservoir, attach a longer hose to that and place the other end in a bottle, swing steering from lock to lock and see if it comes out. If it does, keep going until it's not coming out anymore. Put return hose back on, fill will the correct stuff, turn from lock to lock and top up until fluid level stops dropping?
All input very welcome.
New PS pump fluid! Have you won the lottery?

That's the routine as advised on the Facebook page to someone yesterday, suggested receptacle was a 3 litre coke bottle but I'm sure other soft drinks manufacturers are available...
Advised that the lock to lock 3-4 times should be enough to push any air out of the system.

Have you done this and if so did it all go to plan? Did you use the Toyota fluid or something more affordable?
Thanks
Not done it yet.
After Ding Day, I think.
Bought the Ravenol.
They did screw up on SMT fluid, but the EPS fluid is, I'm assured, good.

Thanks, I assume the return pipe is the rubber one? Hopefully it looks like a straight forward job, famous last words...
