does anyone know where I can get hold of a full set of silicon hoses for mark 3?

I got mine from eBay, although it looks like the seller has stopped selling them.  I didn't find any other posts on the forum about them when I did them, which suggests the stock rubber ones don't tend to go.

Having done it, personally wouldn't bother, depending on the quality of the kit you may find they don't quite line up, and it reduces your ability to slightly move/flex the rad (e.g. if you needed to work on your air con).  I found myself tightening them for a few days after as I was convinced I was getting a slight drip/weep.

Thanks, I won't bother then. I've just got a new radiator just thought new hoses would look nice.

Would undoubtedly look better, like your thinking to make an improvement.

Some things are more hassle than they are worth.

I bought some blue ones over a year ago and they're still sitting in the garage, although they are in a big pile of things to go on!  :-\  I'm not sure I'll ever bother fitting them as airlocks are such a faff in that area. Not a full set, just the main front rad hoses (these (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silicone-Radiator-Hose-Kit-FOR-TOYOTA-MR2-MR-S-MRS-ZZW30-1ZZ-FED-1-8L-00-07-/351771743174?hash=item51e73ad3c6))

I have those exact ones in orange. The two that sit beneath the car are fine and a good fit. The two that go on the sides of the rad - one was about a cm shorter than the one that came off it, and that's where I had the weep. Whereas the rubber ones butt right up to the lip of the radiator outlet for a secondary seal.

Noted, could be shorter. thanks. New radiator came today. Jet-washed the car over the weekend and could see small flakes off the rad.  :D

Don't let me put you off too much :) just doesn't seem a very common mod, presumably because if you only do the four, there's no engine bay bling aspect to it  ;)
