Title: Mapping the Unichip in t' North
Post by: Anonymous on March 9, 2005, 14:16
Having got quite excited reading Liz's report (and others) on the Unichip - I've decided to take the plunge.

Has anyone had one fitted and mapped in the North - Millways at Andover is just too far from Manchester for my liking.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers,

Leahcim

Best thing is to ring Dastek - their number is on their website and ask them to provide a local dealer near to you.  I could of gone to one in Essex but opted for Millway due to their experience with the '2. HTH

Thanks for the help Liz - may not need the mapping service...

Still watching the thread with interest, but my current preferred option is to buy the pre-mapped version and if necessary get it mapped later.

Just get the premapped. Mines fine and has made a big difference plus I've got the advantage of 2 switchable maps, the aggressive one and a sligjtly safer one for normal fuel.

Thanks Rusty - I think you're right.

Just need to find the blasted ecu-opening tool now.
