Title: Plastic pin clips
Post by: nimrod on July 4, 2018, 07:58
I know how to remove the frunk clips I just push the pin in a little further, not sure about the Larger flat headed ones found on body panels and engine lid tray.

If they're one piece, domed ones just pry them straight out with a flat blade or better still treat yourself to a trim removal tool set, cheap as chips.
If they're two piece then pry the centre part until it just pops up, then the same with the bottom half and remove as required.

CNIKESIN 7Pcs Door Panels Trim Removal Tool Set with Clip Plier Set & Fastener Remover for Removing Auto Panels Trim https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07BMY6JJ9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_prjpBbTPRH5C2
Obviously others are available and you don't necessarily need the full set but these are a good bit of kit to have around.

A +1 on getting a set of trim tools.  After years of popping things off (and damaging them) with screwdrivers, knives, fingers etc, a set of trim tools has made a world of difference to me.  Door cards, in particular, are so much easier and far less likely to end up with broken clips these days.

I have one, need to use it rather than a screwdriver :)

I've just ordered the set as I'm sure they all will be used at some point.
