Title: Head and neck support
Post by: Carolyn on July 11, 2018, 14:20
I've been making myself ill by going too fast round corners.  A geriatric neck has led to severe headaches.

Got to keep my head supported laterally.  Sacrifice one Halfords £25 booster seat:

Jeremy Clarkson could have done with one of those when he tested the Nissan GTR. Sure it was godzilla that gave him a neck injury going round corners quickly?

Just been for a spin.  I'd forgotten just how hard the little bugger will corner.

I can see the new club competition now, the 'Stiff Neck' award.

We will not be rating anybody for their stiffness thank you very much.
This does fall nicely into the innovation award. Cleverererrest mod

I'm sooooo chuffed with how this turned out.  Got my car back!!

Slips on and off in seconds.  It just pushes-on, and fits really snug to the seat.  Somebody could make a business out of these.

A little refinement and attention to aesthetics and it's a product.

Isn't that what happens if you get viagra stuck in your throat...it gives you a stiff neck [emoji16]

Couple of points

1. Is this in the standard 2 or the other one?

2. Geriatric  :o you put many of us to shame with your energy and enthusiasm.

3.Did you try and explain to the Halford staff what you were doing with the booster seat(can only imagine the confused looks on their faces)
4.Brilliant   :notworthy:

It's my daily driver, the Normally Aspirated one. Mind you, it will push/fit on both cars, so it's 'Take me with you'.

Had progressive spondylitis in my neck for years.  It's got quite a bit worse in the last couple.  It is, I'm afraid, a combination of old injury and old age.  I have seriously had to slow down this year.

I did say I was going to take a hacksaw to it.  I was ignored.
