Title: Link Storm vs Emu Black
Post by: Nvy on July 25, 2018, 14:55
Hey guys,
Should i go with Link storm(old one) or Ecumaster Emu black? Any thoughts? I think link storm should be enough for 400 hp home turbo build? I also wonder if i will be able to keep the dash working with the G4?

Thanks for looking!

How much are the old storms going for?

Performance wise I think they're both far more than you'd ever need on a road car.

Personally I love the emu but it would be completely down to cost.

I got a nice deal and i can use the rest of the cash for mapping. I would snatch the deal with Ecumaster if i was in UK and the car could be mapped at 1000.

I think they might be able to map the car remotely etc

They could put a base map on and adjust based on logs, but I certainly wouldn't do remote mapping for a fresh tune unless it was on a dyno and mapped remotely while on the dyno

For a four cylinder an old link storm is fine especially if it comes with a 1zz loom for 500 quid.
It's no good for my V6 unfortunately.
